Vince Juarez

Performance Coach
B.S. Kinesiology · CSCS · USAW · FMS

Vince Juarez spent more than fifteen years coaching in competitive California environments across football, men's and women's basketball, field hockey, lacrosse, and soccer — at the high school, junior college, and private performance levels.

He coached at Palo Alto High School, Menlo School, and College of San Mateo through championship seasons, playoff runs, and state title appearances. Those environments shaped a direct approach to assessment, programming, and the kind of accountability that does not soften when the work gets hard.

His role here is the same as every role before it: hold the standard, build the environment, and make the people in front of him better.

Doctor of Chiropractic
DC · B.Kin (Hons) · Neurofunctional Medical Acupuncture · Palmer College West

Dr. Maggie Dunlop-Juarez is a Doctor of Chiropractic with a background in athletic therapy and competitive sport. Before chiropractic school, she worked in field and team environments at Palo Alto High School, Menlo-Atherton High School, and Edge School in Calgary, with experience across Hockey Alberta, Rugby Alberta, Junior B lacrosse, and return-to-play settings.

She is also a competitive runner who has competed at the Canadian National Championships and run 2:59 at the Chicago Marathon. That combination — clinical training, sideline experience, and competitive sport — shapes how she reads a case and what she does with it.

Her care is built around function and return to performance, not symptom management alone. She factors in what people are doing in training, what they are trying to get back to, and what the actual path forward requires.

The first step is a conversation.

Tell us what you are dealing with, what you are working toward, or what has not been working. We will be direct about what fits.

What we do here.

Three primary ways to work with us. Recovery support is available when the plan calls for it.

01
Integrated

Integrated Performance Care

Led by
  • Vince Juarez + Dr. Maggie Dunlop-Juarez
How it works
  • Direct coordination between coaching and chiropractic care

For people who need coaching, chiropractic care, and recovery support working together.

Integrated care is our highest-touch option for people who need coaching, chiropractic care, recovery, and return-to-performance support working together. As training demands change, the plan changes with them.

Who this is for
  • People working back from injury
  • Athletes managing higher training, practice, or competition demands
  • Working professionals and active adults who train with intent and want coaching, chiropractic care, and recovery support moving in the same direction
What it includes
  • Shared assessment between Vince and Maggie
  • Training programming adjusted to clinical findings
  • Chiropractic care informed by training demands
  • Recovery support access when appropriate
  • Direct communication between coach and clinician — no referral chain
02
Chiropractic

Chiropractic Care

Led by
  • Dr. Maggie Dunlop-Juarez, DC
  • B.Kin (Hons) · Neurofunctional Medical Acupuncture · Palmer College West

Care that looks beyond the symptom.

Dr. Dunlop-Juarez considers how your body is functioning, what daily life or training is asking of you, and what returning to full capacity actually requires. For some people that means getting back to exercise. For others it means getting through work, parenting, or everyday life with less pain and more capability. Clinical care that thinks past the appointment.

Who this is for
  • People dealing with pain, stiffness, or recurring issues
  • People recovering from injury or working back to full activity
  • Active adults who want care that accounts for real-life demands
  • Runners, athletes, and training clients who need care connected to what their body is being asked to do
What it includes
  • Chiropractic assessment and treatment
  • Soft tissue therapy and manual care
  • Neurofunctional medical acupuncture
  • Return-to-training and return-to-activity planning
  • Coordination with Vince when training load is part of the picture

Performance Training

  • Vince Juarez, CSCS
  • B.S. Kinesiology · USAW · FMS

A coach, not a template.

A program tells you what to do. A coach tells you why the sequence is built the way it is, adjusts when something changes, and holds the standard through sessions when it would be easier not to. Programming is built from objective assessment and adjusted using real feedback and real data — not a fixed template.

Who this is for
  • Athletes training across off-season, pre-season, in-season, or post-season
  • Runners building toward a race
  • Working professionals who need a real training structure
  • Active adults who want to stay capable and strong
  • Return-to-training clients cleared by a clinician
What it includes
  • Initial movement and performance assessment
  • Individualized programming built around your sport, schedule, and goals
  • Ongoing coaching — not a handoff to a program you run alone
  • Load and progression adjusted based on how you're responding
  • Coordination with Maggie if chiropractic care is part of the picture

Recovery support, when the plan calls for it.

  • Game Ready — cold and compression therapy
  • Normatec — sequential pneumatic compression
  • Soft tissue work
  • Clinical modalities — BTL ultrasound, electrical stimulation

Recovery tools and support services may be added to performance training or chiropractic care when appropriate.

Within integrated care, they can also be used more broadly when training load, recovery, or return-to-performance needs call for it.
